LegalSearch strives to deliver every service with the highest quality and professionalism. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent to all clients.
Professional Fees vs. Government Fees: Our total charges consist of (a) LegalSearch's professional fees and (b) government filing fees paid on your behalf. Refunds apply only to the professional fees component. Government fees paid to MCA, IP India, GSTN, or any other authority are non-refundable once the application has been submitted.

9. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your service order subject to the following conditions:
- Within 48 hours of payment: Full cancellation and refund of professional fees, provided work has not yet commenced. Contact us immediately at support@legalsearch.io.
- After 48 hours, before filing: Cancellation accepted with a 50% processing fee deducted from professional charges.
- After filing with government: Cancellation is not possible once the government application is submitted. You may separately apply to withdraw or modify the application through the relevant government portal at your own cost.
- AMC Subscriptions: May be cancelled at the end of the current billing cycle. No prorated refund is available for the period already in progress.
To request a cancellation, email support@legalsearch.io with your order number, name, and reason for cancellation. We respond within 2 working days.
10. Payment Terms
- Accepted Modes: Credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, and select wallet options via our secure payment gateway.
- EMI Options: Certain services are eligible for EMI payment through select banks. EMI terms are governed by your card-issuing bank.
- Currency: All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
- Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.
- Invoices: A GST-compliant tax invoice will be emailed to you within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
- Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback without first contacting LegalSearch for resolution may result in suspension of your account and recovery proceedings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
- Notify existing clients via email for significant changes.
